All international students who have been offered a place with us are required to apply for a Student's Pass with the Immigration and Checkpoints Authority (ICA). Upon receiving your Acceptance Form for a place with SHRM and the relevant documents , we will proceed with the Student's Pass application on your behalf. |

| New Application |
You are not required to be present in Singapore while your application is being considered. Hence, you are advised to apply for a Student’s Pass before arriving in Singapore as no extension of stay will be granted while the application is being processed.
You are advised to enter Singapore to complete the formalities for the issuance of a Student’s Pass only after your applications has been approved. You will be issued with a Student’s Pass within one month from the course commencement date. |

| A Student's Pass is issued to all foreign students under strict conditions: |
- It is issued only for study in a particular school, for a particular course.
- Student's Pass holders are prohibited from working in Singapore (paid or unpaid).
- You cannot get married to a Singaporean or Singapore Permanent Resident while in Singapore on a Student's Pass.

| Renewal of Student's Pass |
- The Student's Pass must be renewed every 6 months for diploma and advanced diploma programmes and 12 months for degree programmes. The Adminstration Office holds a record of the expiry date for your Student's Pass. However, it is your responsibility to take note of the expiry date of your Student's Pass and to renew your Student's Pass two weeks before the expiry to avoid overstaying in Singapore. Please approach the Adminstration Office for assistance in renewing your Student's Pass.
- If ICA has not renewed the Student's Pass by the expiry date, you may have to leave Singapore.

| Cancellation of Student's Pass |
| You are required to surrender your Student's Pass for cancellation within 7 days from the date of cessation or termination of your study. Please approach the Administration Office for assitance in cancelling your Student's Pass online. Please bring along your Student's Pass and travel documents. Upon successful cancellation online, you will be issued a "Notification for Cancellation of Student's Pass" within three working days. You will need this notification to exit Singapore. |
