The CaseTrust for Education is ascheme facilitated by the Consumer Association of Singapore (CASE) for the education industry in Singapore. The scheme aims to enhance the confidence of international students and their parents in the quality of education in Singapore.

The regulatory framework focuses on building trustworthiness, professionalism, as well as business and academic excellence. There are two tiers to the scheme:

First Tier - (mandatory), which requires Private Schools to ensure high quality student welfare practices and standards

Second Tier - (voluntary), focus on enhancing business and academic excellence.

CaseTrust for Education is part of the mandatory tier under the regulatory framework. Under this scheme, students who are accepted to study in a school are required to enter an official contract with the school before they are enrolled into the programme.

SHRM has put in place the Student Protection Scheme in the form of Escrow Agreement (with HSBC) that indemnifies the students for their tuition fees paid in advance to the school.
