Step 1: Check your eligibility to enter the desired programme

Please refer to the programme details. You may counter check and ensure that you have met the entry requirement, for both academic and English proficiency requirement, of the specific programme.

PRE-COUNSELING BEFORE APPLICATION:
Kindly ensure that you have received the following information through the programme consultation before signing up a programme:

  • SHRM College’s location and general description of campus and facilities.
  • SHRM College’s enquiry number and operation hours.
  • Course admission requirements, English language requirement and applicant procedures.
  • Course structure, modules and outlines, intake, duration, assessment methods and schedule, type of certificate awarded.
  • Appropriate guidance and advice on the suitability of the courses to match the aspirations of the students.
  • Opportunities for employment/further education after graduation.
  • Total payable fee (tuition fee, non-tuition fee and miscellaneous fee) throughout the course duration.
  • Payment modes accepted by SHRM College (payment must be made directly to school account).
  • Explanation to terms and conditions in Standard PEI Student Contract.
  • Fee Protection Scheme (FPS) adopted by SHRM College. 
  • Medical Insurance Scheme provided by SHRM College.
  • Brief of student support services provided by Student Services Centre.
  • Explanation of deferment/ transfer/withdrawal/refund policy and procedure of SHRM College
  • Enquiries related to Private Institutions in Singapore.
  • Website access to CPE https://www.tpgateway.gov.sg/resources/information-for-private-education-institutions -(peis)
  • Student’s Pass application requirements, documents and procedures.
  • Relevant Singapore laws especially those relating ICA and MOM, e.g., laws on employment, smoking, drugs, etc.
  • Students on Student’s Pass are not permitted to engage in any form of employment or attend an industrial          
    attachment/internship programme, whether paid or unpaid, without a valid work pass issued by Ministry of  Manpower.
  • Personal and medical insurance, general healthcare in Singapore.
  • Accommodation and cost of living in Singapore.

Step 2: Fill up, sign and prepare the required forms and documents

  • Duly completed programme application form
  • Duly completed Student’s Pass Application Form, Immigration & Checkpoints Authority of Singapore (ICA) Form 16 and Form V36
  • Certified/ notarized copy of highest qualification certificates and transcripts
  • Certified/ notarized copy of birth certificate
  • Photocopy of Passport/ NRIC
  • Bank statement (if applicable)
  • Employer’s letter certifying applicant’s occupation and salary (if applicable)
  • Employer’s letter certifying parent’s occupation and salary (if applicable)
  • Latest applicant’s resume (if applicable)
  • 2 passport-sized photos (white background)
  • Payment of SGD321 (inclusive of 7%GST) as Programme application fee (non-refundable)

  • Submit your duly completed forms and documents to SHRM College 1 month before the commencement dates.

Note

  • All students are required to bring along the original documents as stated above. All documents submitted to SHRM College will not be returned.
  • Student’s Pass application is subjected to Immigration & Checkpoints Authority of Singapore’s approval.

Step 3: Selection and Acceptance by SHRM

You will be informed in writing regarding the outcome of your application. All applications will be considered on individual merit. Possession of any one of the qualifications as listed does not necessarily guarantee automatic entry to the programme. Successful applicants will be issued an” Offer Letter”.

Step 4: Acceptance by the Student

To confirm the acceptance of offer, you will have to sign and return the “Acceptance of Offer” form before the stipulated deadline.

Step 5: Student’s Pass Application

ICA requires all foreign students to hold a valid Student’s Pass for their full-time study in Singapore. An application for a Student’s Pass will only be submit­ted to ICA via SOLAR+ upon SHRM’s receipt of the duly completed “Acceptance of Offer”. There will be no additional fees to be paid at this point. You shall receive the outcome within 4-5 weeks.

Step 6: Issue of PEI-Student Contract

We will send you PEI-Student Contract once your Student’s Pass application is approved-in-principle by ICA. Kindly refer to Private Education Act/ EduTrust Certification Scheme for contract execution details and important note.

Step 7: Payment of Programme Fees

You are required to make fees payment according to the SCHEDULE B in your PEI-Student Contract with SHRM College. You may approach us if you require assistance on accommodation, and airport pick-up services.

Note:
All course fees must be paid directly to SHRM College.

Do not make payment before signing the contract.

Step 8: Arrival in Singapore

You are required to enter Singapore 14 days before commencement of programme, if your Student’s Pass application is successful, and report to the college within 24 hours upon your arrival in Singapore.

SHRM is committed to maintaining the confidentiality of the student’s personal information and undertakes not to divulge any of the student’s personal information to any third party without the prior written consent of the student, subject to the obligation of SHRM to disclose to any Singapore government authority any information relating to the student.
