Life at SHRM // Accommodation
 

As part of your learning experience with us, it is important to make arrangements for suitable accommodation prior to arriving in Singapore.  All new international students are encouraged to stay in the student hostel on the school premises for the first six months of their studies with SHRM.  This is to ensure that students have a smooth transition to the new environment.  At the same time, our live-in staff will be on-hand to assist students to settle in.
 
We offer both twin-bedders and six-bedders for students. All rooms are air-conditioned and come with basic furnishing including bed, individual study table and individual wardrobe. Wireless Internet access is available from the comfort of your room. Common cooking facilitites are also available for students who want to prepare their own meals. You are required to provide your own bedspreads and pillow. These items can be purchased easily at the nearby shopping mall.
 
   
   
 

In your Letter of Offer for a place at SHRM, there will be an attached Accommodation Form for you to reserve a place at our student hostel. As vacancy is subject to availability, you will be required to fill in and return the form together with your Acceptance of Offer.  Upon checking-in at the school hostel, you will be required to sign an accommodation contract. Failure to submit this form will be deemed that you have decided not to accept the school’s offer of accommodation on campus. The school does not offer any other accommodation arrangements.

- All fees stated above are subject to an additional 7% Goods and Services tax (GST).
- All fees stated above will be covered under the Fee Protection Scheme. The Fee Protection Scheme does not cover GST.
 
Other Expenses
It is estimated that students require a minimum sum of S$450 - S$550 per month to finance their other expenses such as food and drinks, entertainment, personal stationery supplies, laundry and any other personal expenses.
